Children's Classes

The Children's classes cost $235 per child, plus registration fee for new students. Books are included. The children's classes are 2 hours long every Sunday. There is a fifteen minute break for play and snacks.

We have optional dance for children from 3:30 to 5 pm starting in October.

Learn Chinese language and dance! Students prepare their talents for the annual Chinese New Year celebration and enjoy two hours of Chinese lessons every Sunday. During the 15-minute recess, students play on the playground and enjoy snacks (provided by parents). The children enjoy weekly gatherings with their Chinese School friends. Chinese School is fun!

Adults Class

We also have a beginner class for teens and adults that starts on Sunday, Sept 14, from 12:15 to 1:15 pm. The adult classes are 1 hour long every Sunday. This semester long class costs $265 plus $30 for the books. Please register for this class in person on September 7 at 1 pm. Or come on September 14 at 12:00 pm. Cash and checks only please.

The Clearwater Chinese School (founded 1990) provides a once a week community experience for learning Chinese language and culture, plus seeing old friends and making new ones!

Chinese School encourages students to learn in a fun way and to adopt intellectual values. It also: Broadens student’s cultural horizon, such as communicating with Chinese Chess, Brush Painting and Dance, Builds a diverse student population and provides for broad community participation, and Encourages students to take advantage of other advanced learning programs in public schools, including Chinese classes.

The Clearwater Chinese Language School admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded to all students at the School.
